Description of the problem	Nhtsa recall 15v229000 dated 04/17/15 does not show up in audi system, however, volkswagen group of america, inc. Has listed it for my audi a3. I am experiencing this defect as of january 9, 2018 with vin #[xxx]. I never received a recall notice. On occasion, the car will not start, or starts for a minute and shuts off with an inability to restart. After sitting for an hour or so it will start. I believe there may be a defect with the fuel pump as described in recall 15v229000. How do i get audi to accept the recall? I have already been stranded once and needed a tow to audi dealer who stated fuel pump was the issue, but vehicle has no recalls. I believe this to be in error and would like it resolved.
