Description of the problem | Took car through the car wash. As i was slowly exiting to park into a spot to vacuum the car, i took my foot off the accelerator to drive up to the spot and started to put my foot on the brake when the car by itself revved up the acceleration jumped over the curve even as i was literally standing on the brake pedal to get the car to stop. Finally it did stop and thankfully there was no-one in front when this happened. I have called the dealer to check whether there has been any recalls and was told that none have been issued. I need to leave the car for them to inspect it which i plan to do. I did a little research on the internet and have found several complaints identical to mine. It was a very terrifying moment. |
