Description of the problem | Grinding sound in transmission between 35-45 mph. When this sound is heard the vehicle looses power and is very reluctant to downshift. It can be heard in any driving mode but is worse in "normal" and almost not drivable in "eco". Vw refuses to acknowledge issue and says it is normal, but is is anything but normal for a car to behave this way. |
