Description of the problem	The vehicle was being driven. While it was in motion on the freeway the hybrid light turned on when this happened. At the same time the ac stopped cooling. Once we got home we inspected it. The freeze on is full and nothing is wrong with the ac condensor. We turned it on and took it for a drive down the neighborhood but the gear shift wont work. The car loses power when switched to the second shift. We have taken it to volkswagon and they quoted us a repair for the entire transmission replacement. Yet there is a open recall.
