Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2002 toyota tundra. The contact stated that while driving 10 mph, the front driver side tire and wheel fractured from the vehicle causing the front end to collapse. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where the contact was advised that the upper and lower control arms had malfunctioned and caused the wheel to fracture. There were no recalls on the vehicle pertaining to the upper control arm. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 150,000. |
