Description of the problem | The side view mirrors are too big and obstruct the view when turning right or left. The driver's side view mirror is worse and when turning left you can't see if there is a pedestrian in the crosswalk. It seems to be a problem for short drivers mostly and most women are much shorter than men. I have gone to the dealer and they do not have a solution. This seems to have been a problem on a number of toyotas for many years. I suspect i will have to go to a junk yard and find something that is smaller. For more on other people who have had the same problem, go to: side mirror blind spot |
