Description of the problem | At around 40,000 miles my tires started cupping, i put on new tires with wheel alignment, at 55,000 miles i noticed my rear had a harder ride than usual and seemed to bottom out on bumps. Again with 85,000 miles (30k on new tires) tires were cupped and realized it after i spun out in the rain. I went to the mechanic and he said you have weak rear leaf springs and 1 leaf broken close to gas tank, he said there was a leaf spring recall on the 2011's and prior with 3 leaf packs (which i have) , 2 sets of tires and now springs cost me thousands, why aren't all tacomas with 3 pack leaf springs recalled? |
