Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns 2007 toyota tacoma. The contact stated that there were bubbles on the surface of all four wheels. The contact stated that while the vehicle was at a stop, the rear passenger tire became flat. The psi warning light illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who stated that the failure was due to the chemicals use to attach the aluminum alloy on the wheels, that caused the product not to seal. As a consequence the wheels were dissolving, causing the tire to deflate. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed with them. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 20,000 and the current mileage was 56,000. |
