Description of the problem	Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota tacoma. When the contact stopped at a stop sign, the vehicle surged forward and the rpms increased. The vehicle would not downshift and he had to slam on the brakes in order to stop the vehicle. The failure occurred twice in june of 2009.
