Description of the problem | I got into a wreck when driving my 2010 toyota prius because i feel the breaks did not work properly. The driver in front of me slammed on his brakes and i slammed on mine, i was in the middle of a 3 car pileup. I did not receive a citation because i was not following to close, which leads me to believe the breaks were not working as good as they should have. I am in industrial engineer and i believe this is most likely a computer problem. I drove a honda civic for 13 years and the breaks were much sharper, once activated they stopped the car much faster. I never got into a wreck with my civic, however, after owning my prius for only 2 weeks i got into a wreck. The incident number provided by the oklahoma city police department is 102719. |
