Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota corolla. The contact stated that when he depressed the brake pedal, the vehicle suddenly accelerated. The failure was intermittent. To stop the vehicle, he would shift into neutral and turn off the engine. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership about eight times but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The contact called the manufacturer and filed a complaint but was told that there were no recalls.
