Description of the problem	Steering issue with 2009 toyota corolla, 25,050 miles. While traveling at 20mph in residential subdivision, vehicle veered left, steering unresponsive, spun 180 degrees and came to rest against the curb on the opposite side of the road. Car in front and car to the rear passed through same area without incident. Also, vehicle will drift abruptly at highway speeds, similar to effect of high crosswind or ice, with no movement of steering wheel and none of the body roll that usually accompanies a crosswind, requires high level of attentiveness to avoid crossing lane boundaries. This behavior is sporadic, but a 10-mile trip is enough distance for several occurrences. Given the intermittent nature of this issue, i have not reported it to the dealership nor to toyota, so nothing has been done and no repairs have been attempted.
