Description of the problem | 2006 and other years of toyota corolla. Ecm defect causes had shifting of transmission and has resulted in sudden loss of all power when driving. Cases of this problem are widely reported on the internet by owners of these vehicles but no action has been taken by the nhtsa to order a recall or to hold the company liable to repair these vehicles.
