Defect summary | Vehicle description: motorcycles. The gasket between the fuel tank and the fuel pump mounting plate can lose its ability to provide a tight seal, allowing fuel to drip from the gasket. |
Consequence summary | In the presence of an ignition source, fuel leakage can result in a fire. |
Corrective action | Dealers will install a redesigned fuel pump gasket on these motorcycles. |
