Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2018 ram 3500. The contact noticed white powder coming from the vents when the air coditioner was activated. The vehicle was taken to reagle dodge (route 512 bangor, pa 18013, (610)-863-6900) where it was diagnosed that the evaporator coil failed prematurely and caused a chalk like dust to blow inside the vehicle. The dealer further stated that the dashboard and center consule needed to be removed in order to remove the evaporator coil the manufacturer was contacted. The contact also stated that the failure was exerienced in the 2014 and 2015 models. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 6,000. |
