Description of the problem | While driving truck on cruise control on florida turnpike at 68mph, no potholes or abnormalities in roadway. Truck began to shimmy real bad. Nursed the truck home and inspected all aspects of front end and tire pressure. Pressure was set at 80psi per manufacture recommendation for front tires. Took truck to dealership and they advised both front nexen 235/80r17 tires had inner wall separation. The truck has only 5734 miles on it and it is not abused. Extremely disappointed that these tires failed and could have been catastrophic if i was hauling my 8000 camper with family inside of it. Dealership would no let me photo the tires, they said they were in communication with nexen to get them replaced. |
