Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 3500. In april of 2015, while the vehicle was in reverse, the brakes malfunctioned. The contact's vehicle failed to stop and bumped into a second vehicle. There were no injuries. While driving approximately 60 mph, the brakes suddenly activated without the brake pedal being applied. During the incident, the brake sensor, abs sensor and throttle sensor illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who replaced the brake module sensor and transmission sensor, but the failure recurred while being test driven. In november of 2015, the vehicle experienced the failure again. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who replaced the star connector. The failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 7,000. |
