Description of the problem	Traveling in right lane of 4 lane highway at 55mph. Another vehicle pulled out from the right into my lane right in front of me. I let off throttle and applied brakes. Noticed an opening in traffic in the left lane. Turned on the turn signal, started to shift lanes and applied throttle. Truck would not accelerate for what felt like 2-3 seconds. By that time the car behind me in the left lane was right on my bumper. No accident occurred, but it was a close call. I had noticed a 1-2 second throttle delay a couple times while maneuvering through traffic earlier in the day as well.
