Description of the problem | The tpms (tire pressure monitoring system) quit reading the tire pressure on my truck within the first few hundred miles of ownership. My truck has been in the shop for a total of 6 times for 8-10 days for this issue. The dealer could not figure why the system quit.... They have replaced the sensors, the rf hub, etc. I have just over 7,000 miles on this truck and they finally got it to work correctly about a month ago. This week, it has stopped functioning again. If the nhtsa requires these systems to be on vehicles for safety, then chrysler/mopar/dodge should be held accountable to address the issue. |
