Description of the problem | I have received recall notice concerning the drag link. The recall says that this defective part could cause an crash. I have called chrysler who says that there is at this time no fix. I called several dealerships and one said there is no fix and the other states that the fix is to weld the part. Welding this part does not allow me to have to replace the tie rod ends each time to adjust the front end alignment. It may be that this vehicle was sold to me knowing that there was a problem since the recalls were for previous years. Chrysler says they are only fixing the 2017 and 2018 years. I have a 2014 3500 and a 2015 3500. We inspected and found the nut to be very loose. Your website says that there is a fix of replacing the drag link. Chrysler disagrees. Who's right? |
