Description of the problem	Was going to merge on to the freeway the car in front of me slowed down so i had to take my foot off the accelerator pedal. A hole opened in traffic and i started to change lanes pressed down on the accelerator pedal to get up to the same speed as traffic and there was a 2 to 3 second pause before the truck started to accelerate. In that time i watched the truck behind me get dangerously close and the hole i came out of closed up i had no were to go. I took the truck to the dealer and they told me that is the way the truck is suppose to work. I test drove a truck at another dealer and it did not have the same problem. Took it back to the dealer shop and they were still adamant that the truck was working correctly. I can duplicate the problem when ever i want.
