Description of the problem	Blower motor resistor failed causing blower motor to burn and thus burning back to the wiring harness. Smoke began coming out from behind the heater and radio knobs. Air conditioner was on, but when turned off it continued to blow. Radio and air/heater panel became hot to touch. Instrument cluster lights began flashing. Incindent happened only a few blocks away from dealership. Vehicle was driven to dealer and turned off. Battery was disconnected and fire self-extinguished.
