Description of the problem | I have been trying to get the steering recall on my dodge ram 3500 repaired for about 3 months, the chrysler corp. Representatives informs me that the part is not available. This recall has been effect much longer than 3 months. If this part breaks as the recall indicates the steering would be uncontrollable and could have fatal consequences. Does someone have to die before chrysler is required by law to repair the affected vehicles. I have made many calls and am told each time the parts are not available and they have me on a waiting list. I tow a 11,000 pound 5th wheel rv which i think adds to the danger of this part failing. |
