Description of the problem | Chrysler has recalled tie rod ball stud (n49/ nhtsa 13v-529) indicating my vehicle may crash without warning. Chrysler has not supplied the parts to fix the problem. Contact with chrysler has told me that no parts are available and no expected time as to when the parts will be available. This is unsatisfactory. The nhtsa must ensure that chrysler corp. Is held responsible for its product. It has been two months since i have attempted to remedy the problem with no help from chrysler. Meanwhile, thousands of heavy duty trucks hauling thousands of pounds of cargo continue to operate on highways with the possibility of crashing as indicated by chrysler. This is unsatisfactory as chrysler is putting thousands of lives in danger by not fixing the problem they have identified. The nhtsa, if not fixing the problem, is also contributing to the issue. |
