Description of the problem | I received a safety recall notice n49 / nhtsa 13v-529. I took my truck to the dealer lake keowee dodge on 1/11/14 to be inspected. The dealer confirmed the part needed to be replaced on my truck. The dealer informed me that they were only allowed to order 1 of these parts every 10 days. The dealer informed me that there were already 10 customers ahead of my truck. This results in it being at least 100 days before the dealer could order the part for my truck. This is totally an unreasonable and irresponsible approach to correct a known safety defect. I request an explanation and prompt attention to this matter to insure my safety and the safety of everyone. |
