Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 dodge ram 3500. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, fuel fumes were emitted into the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who diagnosed that the high pressure fuel sensor was leaking. As a result, the fuel pressure rail assembly had to be replaced in order to remedy the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offered no assistance because the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The warranty was revokede when the contact installed an aftermarket fuel filter. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 34,800 and current mileage was 34,866. |
