Description of the problem | After receiving the recall on the left tie rod end for my truck, i took the truck to the dealer and was told they did not have guidance as to what to do yet so i should bring the truck back. A few weeks later, i returned and was told that they would order the part, but they were only allowed to order 1 per week and it may be months or years before my parts showed up. Part order was placed in march of 2014. It is now july of 2014 and the repair has still not been made. It would appear to me that an "important safety recall" would be handled in a more timely manner. |
