Description of the problem | No incident, just a question of concern. We have received several notices of a recall for our 2010 3/4 ton truck, but the dealerships (2! Both glenwood springs and grand junction) state they cannot get the parts and have on us a waiting list. What the heck??!! It has been 7 months! If a recall about the steering is in place, why is there no preparation and way to resolve this? And we have had to have our steering worked on before, but not correcting this recall. So, now what happens if the steering fails and i am still on the list? Who is responsible? I tried to do the right thing but apparently the shortage of parts is creating another hazard. I certainly don't want to be cruising down i-70 at 75 mph and the steering fails! One of the dealerships stated they get 2 repair kits a month and this may take 1-2 years to get thru the waiting list for the repair. This cannot be right! |
