Description of the problem	I purchased a new dodge ram 2500 truck in 2010. I received an "important" safety recall on jan. 10, 2014 #n49/nhtsa 13v-529 for my vehicle vin [xxx]. It states the left tie rod ball stud may fracture under certain driving conditions causing a loss of directional control and/or crash without warning. I phoned fowler auto dodge trucks in lakeport, ca 707-263-0500 on jan. 20, 2014 to order the parts and/or make an appointment. John advised me it will take some time but he will call when it gets in. Today is february 26 and nothing has come in. According to john, the parts are being released slowly as they don't have enough. He stated they are probably 2-4 months out until they get them. I asked for chrysler head office number 1-800-992-1977 a representative stated this has been a common complaint from customers this past week. Advised me they should be available to dealers in "about" two weeks. I am concerned for my safety as well as others in my family when i receive an "important" safety recall like this.
