Description of the problem	The dealer performed recall k33 service today. Before service, the brake lights stayed illuminated about 1 second after the brake pedal was released. After service, the brake lights still stayed illuminated about 1 second after the brake pedal was released. The ps reservoir cap was replaced, but this does not solve the problem. The brake safety interlock for the shift lever also stays disengaged for the same 1 second when the shift lever is in "park". However, my concern has been and still is that my trailer brakes also remain engaged for the same 1 second interval after the brake pedal is released. This is most noticeable when stopped at a light. I have to release the brake pedal, wait about 1 second for the trailer brakes to release, then begin to accelerate. This puts unnecessary strain on my trailer brakes, and is a concern in wet or snowy conditions when the vehicle is moving. The trailer brake control works properly, and since the trailer brakes disengage and the truck brake lights turn off at the same time, this is obviously the same problem, and is not solved by replacing the power steering reservoir cap.
