Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 dodge ram 2500. The contact stated that the exhaust fumes entered the vehicle through the cab and could cause health complications. Whenever the fumes were present, the check engine warning light would illuminate. The delaer inspected the vehicle and reprogrammed and replaced the o2 censor since it had failed. After the repairs, the contact continued to smell the fumes. The manufacturer was notified of the failure; however, did not offer any assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 8,500. Updated 09/21/11*lj chrysler informed the consumer they didn't have a fix for the emissions system failure and they would contact him when they did. Updated 10/03/11 |
