Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ram 1500. The contact took the vehicle to perkins motors (1205 motor city dr., colorado springs, co 80905, 855-832-3989) for routine service. The technician informed the contact that the tire rotation could not be performed because two of the tires were of different brands; therefore, the tread depths were uneven. The manufacturer was notified and informed the dealer that the tires had to have the same tread depth in order to be rotated. The contact asked for the information in writing since it was not listed in the owner's service manual. The technician replied that it was proprietary information and could not be made public. The tires were not rotated. The failure mileage was 131,609. |
