Description of the problem	Brakes failed approaching a very busy intersection, while trying to slow down from a 55-mph zone. The pedal went all the way to the floor with no brake response. Luckily, i had the sense to pump the brakes quickly before plowing into the busy intersection! Took the truck to the dodge dealership and was informed after a couple of days that the failure was due to the master boost pump, but they did not have one in stock. Basically, got my truck back a week later and was in shock over the cost to replace about a $125 part (around $500). I noticed that there had been recalls pertaining to problems in this area with previous year models and even 2010 year models, but was informed that my particular vin# was not affected... Think they may need to look into this to avoid someone possibly being killed or killing someone from a similar problem! Could have been catastrophic! At the very minimum, dodge should issue a tsb and should refund $$ for the repair!
