Description of the problem | This truck shuts off when hitting bumps or if you jiggle the key in the ignition creating an unsafe condition at low and high speed shut-offs. The repair required the win module to be replaced. The win module replacement was required on another safety recall for other dodge ram 1500s, but not this one. The win module recall needs to be expanded to additional dodge ram units. Also, this same problem was part of a recall on 2009 dodge journeys. The shutoff problem spans several dodge models with this type of ignition. I will be submitting a second complaint for another 2010 dodge ram with the same safety shut-off problem.. |
