Description of the problem | We own a 2015 ram promasters. While driving on the freeway at various speeds. Tech experienced a sudden loss of power. On the dash appeared a yellow check engine light and a red symbol ( ! ). A message read "service required - transmission service". As the tech attempted to exit the freeway, afraid that the van might stall with incoming traffic. He made a safe exit off the freeway. Pulled over, turned off ignition and was able to restart the car in hopes that the trouble would clear. The red symbol ( ! ) disappeared and power was restored. Was able to drive back to company. |
