Description of the problem | The tire pressure monitoring system requires i have 60 psi in the front tires and 80 psi in the rear tires. Unless i have a considerable amount of weight loaded in the pickup box, the rear tires are over-inflated at 80 psi. This over-inflated condition causes a rapid wearing of the rear tires. My real concern though, is that the over-inflated condition cause the tires to lose traction unexpectedly during wet or icy conditions. On several occasions my vehicle has become |
