Description of the problem	My 2017 ram 2500 had 55k miles when i got a dashboard warning indicating that service of my electronic braking system was needed. I also got warning indicators for abs and traction control. I had poor braking, no traction control and no cruise control when these warning lights were lit. The dealer diagnosed and replaced the abs hydraulic control unit (hcu), costing me $750. My research reveals that this is a common problem with this truck at various levels of mileage, and ram/fca has restricted the distribution of the hcus in recognition of this problem. Ram refuses to acknowledge that this is a product defect. I've owned many other brands of vehicles (bmw, toyota, honda), with varying levels of mileage, and none of them have every experienced a failure in abs components. Ram/fca should acknowledge that these components have a manufacturer's defect and reimburse clients who paid to have the parts replaced.
