Description of the problem | In 2010 the steering on my 2008 pontiac g-6 was grinding, and the wheel was difficult to turn. I brought it in for service and the intermediate steering shaft was replaced. Now 2 years later, it is doing it again. I brought it into the dealership and was told they could find nothing. The steering is grinding, it is difficult to turn and the steering shakes at 60 miles per hour. It is unsafe and it needs to be looked into. I have noticed numerous complaints about the steering on the pontiac g-6's and yet there is no recall. I did find a 2008 pontiac g6 steering service bulletin 288506, but when i called the company they stated it did not apply to my car. Some one is going to be seriously hurt if nothing is done about the steering issues in the pontiac g-6's. I would appreciate it if you look into it. |
