Description of the problem	Around july of 2012, approximately 1 year after i purchased a gm certified used pontiac g6 i noticed the steering wheel started popping while turning. As the time progressed the popping became louder. I have done research on the problem and believe it to be the intermediate steering shaft. This will have to be replaced as it can be dangerous if the steering wheel locks up.
