Description of the problem | I took the car into city chevrolet in nov 09 to have the intermediate shaft replaced under warranty due to having steering problems, it fixed the problem for 2 days and had to take it back in and the dealership told us that they forgot to tighten the shaft. Now the same problem is occurring again but much worse, the steering wheel after a turn comes back to the resting position in a jerky fashion and continues going left until it finally rests, the steering wheel vibrates when driving and all speeds. The vehicle makes noise when turning the steering wheel. The vehicle is a 2008 pontiac g6 with 45000 miles on it. The vehicle feels unsafe when driving, it feels as if the vehicle doesn't want to turn when directed to do so. |
