Description of the problem	There were recalls for the same year and make of my vehicle for issues with variable assist electric power steering, but when i called to see if my vin was on the list i was told it was not. This is the main problem with this type of vehicle and i hear that is the reason pontiac converted back to the hydraulic power steering in 2010. I am a single mother and cannot afford to fix this problem with a defective part. Please help me have justice. I've had the hardest time these last few weeks driving with no power steering and have almost wrecked numerous times. Please help. Thank you very much. There was no wreck it or anything that spawned this problem. I am sure that this problem is due to a defective part.
