Description of the problem | After getting the recall part replaced (steering shaft torque sensor) i started having issues with the power steering, my light came on in the radio dash and the steering wheel pulled to right. I took the car back to the dealership and they are now telling me i need my power steering module replaced which is not covered under the recall and i will have to pay 500+ to replace it. I feel gm should be responsible for this part as it all has to do with the steering asist, which they know has problems. I called around to auto stores and you can not buy the part and do it yourself - you have to have the dealership fix it. Gm should put this part on the recall because it obviously is doing the same thing they recalled the torque sensor on. Please help!!! |
