Description of the problem | I was following my wife and noticed that the brake lights were on while driving down the road and went out when she applied the brakes. I did find online that there was a recall on this issue. I called my dealer and he said there was no recall on my vehicle. He told me i could take it in and they could charge me for the repair and then if a recall shows up on my vehicle for that, then i could try to get a reimbursement from gm. I feel this should be taken care of as it is a recall on certain 2008 g6 vehicles and obviously my car has this issue, even though he did not see a specific recall on my specific vehicle. |
