Description of the problem	Drivers seat, electrical, adjustable (2 way) failed to adjust up/down and tension spring protruded into seat area. Removed seat to find weld broken at left rear adjustment bracket- broken/torn from steel seat support bar and bracket jammed against support bar. Tension spring attached to adjustment bracket could have caused grave injury if bracket not jammed against support bar assembly.
