Description of the problem | While driving my vehicle my heated seats were on. However, i began to feel an unusual amount of heat and realized the seat had now started to burn. I immediately turned off the seat warmers. A saw a hole was now also burned through my jacket. When i called gm to set up an appointment for a different recall, i was asked to mention this issue to my dealer when i took my car to the dealership for recall. The dealer indicates this is on a different electrical circuit and not the same one being recalled and could therefore not assist me. Of course, i can no longer use the seat heater as i am fearful of a full blown fire! Can you assist me? |
