Description of the problem	Pulled 2008 g6 into my driveway. Put it in park, went to exit and it started rolling backwards. My husband applied the breaks and found that the shifter was not doing it's job. We had to pull the emergency brake. This also caused the car to not start. The transmission cable separated.
