Description of the problem | Started smelling gas fumes when i stopped the car, now i smell it whether i am driving or stopped. Took it to my mechanic and they determined that it was leaking from the top of fuel tank. They said it was either the plastic fuel line cracked on the fuel pump or the module. They said this has been a safety problem with the 2008 g6. I think this is a problem that should be taken care of by gm. This is a serious safety problem with these cars. Gm needs a recall on this matter. Gm has had recalls on prior years of the g6 with the same problem. |
