Description of the problem | My 2008 pontiac g6 convertible is leaking fuel from the top of the fuel tank. I had the car lifted up on lifts at the dealership i work at and saw that there was fuel all around the bottom of the fuel tank. The fuel line is leaking because the vehicle does not start on the first attempt. The second attempt builds up enough fuel pressure for a normal start. The fuel odor has gotten so bad inside the cabin that i have to keep the windows cracked at all times while driving to keep me from getting a headache. I can be driving down the road and literally watch the fuel needle drop. Gm need to do something about this issue before i or someone else are seriously injured or even killed in a fire! |
