Description of the problem	I have been replacing the socket/harness for my low beams on both sides for a couple of years now. This has occurred since i purchased the car in august of 2011. The sockets are melting, which to me is both a fire hazard, and a safety hazard for night driving since the low beams don't work with a melted socket. This issue occurs on both sides. I have also received a traffic violation ticket after being pulled over, which i was able to get dropped because i fixed it the next day. Either way, this is a fire and safety hazard that needs to be recalled! I should not have to be replacing melting components a couple times a year! I also avoid using my fog lights because i think this melts them quicker due to extra current and heat draw. Also, to my knowledge, there was a recall for hundreds of thousands of gm vehicles for the very same issue. Why not the pontiac g6???
