Description of the problem | Headlight and tail light bulbs are melting at electrical contacts causing frequent bulb failure. The last time this happened with the drivers side headlight, not only was there damage to the bulb's electrical contacts, but the wiring harness itself had melted. After complaining to the local gm dealer, they informed me that they no longer made the part and i would have to "splice" in the harness from the gmc arcadia. I do not find this as an acceptable solution as the spliced points will eventually fail also. Furthermore, what normal car owner can or should do this themselves? |
